What changes

HMRC publishes new advisory fuel rates for company car drivers, including the advisory electric rate, which apply from this date. HMRC reviews them quarterly, on 1 March, 1 June, 1 September and 1 December.

Employers reimbursing business mileage in company cars, and company car drivers repaying private fuel.

What to do before it

Update your mileage claim rates from this date; HMRC lets you use the previous rates for up to one month after a change.
