Logistics UK promotes Katia Yakovleva to new Executive Director of Membership and Engagement role
Chief executive Ben Fletcher says the newly created post brings member relations, membership growth and the events programme together under one dedicated team.
Logistics UK chief executive Ben Fletcher has announced, as reported by Fuel Oil News, the promotion of Katia Yakovleva to Executive Director of Membership and Engagement, a newly created role at the trade body.
Fletcher said the appointment marks the move to a dedicated team focused on the member experience at Logistics UK, with Yakovleva's remit bringing together "all facets of member relations, new member growth and the high quality events programme which Logistics UK is renowned for" in one place.
Yakovleva has worked at Logistics UK since 2018, where her work has included creating and launching the organisation's Executive Membership programme and leading its events team. She was made Deputy Director of Membership and Engagement earlier in 2026, ahead of this latest promotion.
