Malcolm Logistics, part of the Malcolm Group, has taken delivery of two new MAN TGX Individual LionS tractor units, registered L007 WHM and M19 WHM, MAN Truck & Bus has announced.

The vehicles are high-specification MAN TGX Individual LionS 6x2 tractors with GX cabs finished in Nardo Grey, each carrying a bespoke Malcolm Logistics livery designed in-house and applied by Ast Signes and Graphics of Penrith.

Andrew Malcolm, Managing Director of The Malcolm Group, said both trucks will work out of the Malcolm Logistics Grangemouth facility, travelling circa 150,000km a year delivering customer goods throughout the UK.

Power comes from MAN's D26 Euro 6e engine, producing 520 hp (382 kW) and 2,400 Nm of torque from a 12.4-litre displacement, paired with MAN's TipMatic 12-speed automated transmission, which uses CAN Bus data to recognise gross vehicle weight and gradient to optimise gear-shifting and fuel efficiency.

Additional custom features on both trucks include Kelsa light bars, front and rear high-rise lights, a suzie frame, chassis infill, a chequer-plate catwalk and chassis cover, colour-coded mudguards, battery box and wheel nut rings, and Alcoa Dura-Bright wheels on all axles.

MAN Truck & Bus Bellshill prepared and DPI'd both vehicles and will service and maintain them throughout their working lives.

Malcolm Logistics operates a fleet of 450 vehicles and more than 5 million square feet of warehousing across 10 locations, three of which are rail-side.
