MAN Truck & Bus nine-month revenue rises 4% to €10.3bn as order intake climbs 8%
MAN sold 8% more trucks between January and September 2026, mostly in European markets outside Germany. Sales of the MAN TGE van reached 23,400 and electric vehicle deliveries rose 36% from a low base. The figures are group-wide and concern fleets buying MAN trucks, vans and buses.

MAN Truck & Bus has reported sales revenue up 4% to €10.3 billion for the first nine months of 2026, compared with the same period of 2025. In results published on 28 October, the company said unit sales rose 5% to 75,400 and order intake rose 8% to 78,600 units. Its adjusted operating result increased to €639 million from €557 million, and its adjusted operating return rose to 6.2% from 5.6%.
Trucks
Truck sales were 8% higher than in the first nine months of 2025. MAN said the growth came mainly from its core European markets outside Germany, where it says its market share outside the DACH region reached its highest level in seven years. Sales in Germany stagnated over the nine months. MAN said its orders in Germany rose 19% in the third quarter, which it attributes partly to the IAA show in September.
TGE van
MAN sold 23,400 TGE vans in the nine months. The company said this is almost 3% more than in 2025, which was the van's best year so far, and that the TGE is on course for a record year.
Electric vehicles and buses
MAN delivered 1,480 fully electric vehicles in the period, made up of 805 eTrucks and 675 eBuses. That is a 36% increase, which the company notes comes from a low base. MAN says the roughly 1,500 eTrucks now in customer operation have covered more than 60 million km, with average consumption of 95 kWh per 100 km.
Bus deliveries fell 6% against what MAN described as a very strong prior-year period. The company says the first series-production MAN eCoach vehicles are due to roll off the production line this year.
Outlook
Chief financial officer Inka Koljonen said: "The third-quarter result was mainly affected by low sales and production volumes during the summer break. In the short term, we are affected by temporary restrictions at a supplier of truck components. We expect this to have a minor impact in the fourth quarter of 2026." MAN did not name the supplier.
