Templeman adds 21 MAN TGE vans, lifts MAN share to 50% of fleet

Cramlington-based Templeman Retail & Vending has added 21 long-wheelbase MAN TGE 3.140 Lion XS panel vans to its distribution fleet, taking its total vehicle count to 94, with MAN products now making up 50 of those, according to MAN Truck & Bus.
The new vans run MAN's 2.0-litre Euro 6 diesel engine at 140 PS with a six-speed manual, in front-wheel-drive panel configuration, prepared and PDI'd through MAN's Gateshead depot. Each comes with a 10.4-inch MAN Media Van touchscreen, tracking hardware and a category 5 immobiliser as standard, backed by MAN's three-year unlimited-mileage warranty. Templeman's Karl Templeman reports the vans are already showing strong fuel returns in service, per the same release.
Why this matters: a 21-van order lifting MAN's share to more than half of a 94-strong fleet is a solid vote of confidence from a multi-drop distributor, and the standard-fit telematics, immobiliser and three-year warranty give other operators a concrete spec to measure rival panel van deals against.
