HelloFresh Benelux selects Samsara telematics for its electric delivery van fleet
After a pilot in the Netherlands, the meal-kit company will fit Samsara across more than 500 electric vans running from over 10 regional hubs. The system adds real-time driver safety coaching and temperature monitoring for food deliveries to the telematics.

HelloFresh has chosen Samsara as its telematics partner, FleetPoint reports. Its Benelux business will deploy the platform across its entire fleet of more than 500 electric delivery vans following a pilot in the Netherlands. The deployment described covers HelloFresh Benelux only, not the group's operations elsewhere.
The vans operate from more than 10 regional hubs. HelloFresh Benelux will use Samsara's platform for telematics, real-time safety coaching and temperature monitoring intended to protect food quality. Drivers will also use the Samsara Driver App for their daily workflows. According to the companies, the platform integrates with HelloFresh's existing proprietary IT systems.
Mark Sugirtharajah, Senior Director Logistics Europe at HelloFresh, said: "By providing our drivers with feedback on their driving style, we can proactively foster a safer driving culture, dramatically reduce on-road incidents, and better protect the communities we serve."
Ryan Yu, VP of Product at Samsara, said the company was "excited to be selected as their long-term partner to digitise their physical operations in the Benelux".
