Vaylens and Rightcharge partner to automate EV home-charging reimbursement for UK fleets
The deal uses Vaylens' charging-session data to let Rightcharge apply a driver's own home energy tariff and settle payment directly with their energy provider, as Rightcharge says public charging made up close to 70% of charging spend on its platform in the first half of 2026.

Vaylens has partnered with charging payment specialist Rightcharge to automate home charging reimbursement for its fleet customers across the UK, Fleet News reports.
Under the arrangement, Rightcharge uses charging-session data supplied by Vaylens to automatically apply the driver's home energy tariff and settle the reimbursement directly with the driver's energy provider.
Rightcharge said its own platform data shows public charging accounted for close to 70% of charging spend in the first half of 2026, despite providing just 41% of the energy consumed, highlighting the cost gap between public and home charging.
Freddie Winterbotham, head of partnerships at Rightcharge, said: "Two of the leading software providers in charging, working together to solve a real problem for fleets. We're looking forward to supporting Vaylens' customers as their electric fleets grow."
Vaylens is part of Kostal, an independent, family-owned technology group founded in 1912. It develops software for organisations operating EV charging networks or managing workplace and fleet charging, and its portal connects more than 60,000 charge points across Europe.
Rightcharge previously partnered with Humax in March 2026 to help fleets manage EV home charging complexity and ensure accurate driver reimbursement.
