Set against its diesel sibling, the Proace Active Long 2.2D, this electric version costs £5,458 more once the grant is applied, while carrying less payload (1,138kg versus the diesel's 1,360kg) and less braked towing capacity (1,000kg versus 2,500kg). Where that cost gap nets out depends on mileage and where the van is charged.
