AFP introduces LearnUpon learning platform for member training
Association of Fleet Professionals members can now book AFP Fleet Academy courses, access learning materials, track progress and log CPD credits from outside training in one place. The AFP says the platform's AI tools could sometimes cut new course development from weeks or months to days.

The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) said on 20 October 2026 that a new platform is giving its members a single point of access for all their training and education activity.
The platform is the LearnUpon system, which the AFP says is used by 30 million people across 1,700 organisations.
According to AFP training manager Ronnie Gillman, members can use it to "browse and reserve AFP Fleet Academy course places online, access all relevant learning materials in one place, and track their progress and achievements more easily".
Members can also record training done outside the AFP, including registering continuing personal development (CPD) credits for time spent on active learning.
LearnUpon also includes AI tools for generating courses. Gillman says these could sometimes allow a course to be created in days rather than weeks or months. "We will remain very much the architects of the learning being written and presented to members but the platform will enable us to develop new content much more rapidly and with greater flexibility," he said.
Gillman said the AFP sees the platform as "a means to react quickly to developing issues, perhaps delivering a bite-sized course over a lunch hour to tackle a new tax or legislative change just a few days after it has been announced".
