29 October 2026, Farnborough, UK: Natasha Foley has been appointed to the position of Head of Corporate Governance for BMW Financial Services and Alphabet in the UK and Ireland.
Reporting to BMW Group UK Chief Executive Officer, Ursula Wingfield, Foley will now lead corporate governance across the UK and Ireland region, overseeing policy management, senior management function governance, and internal service-level agreements.
Working closely with senior leaders and policy owners, she will help strengthen governance frameworks, ensure BMW Financial Services, which includes ALPHERA Financial Services, and Alphabet remain responsive to regulatory and business developments, and support the effective operation of key management committees.
Foley’s previous ESG Officer role for the UK and Ireland will now report into her new Head of Corporate Governance position, as she seeks to strengthen the alignment between ESG priorities and the wider governance framework.
"I’m delighted to accept the Head of Corporate Governance role,” said Foley. "I look forward to collaborating with colleagues across the Group to foster a culture of strong governance, support sustainable growth and help deliver positive outcomes, while continuing to have oversight of a number of ESG initiatives and carbon reporting. I’m excited to see what we can deliver, together.”
In response to Foley’s appointment, Wingfield said: “Natasha has already made a significant impact, working closely with me and the wider management committee to ensure our policies, decisions and behaviours align with regulatory requirements and best practice, reinforcing our commitment to a responsible business.
