Nissan unveils PIXO, Renault-built electric city car for Europe, ahead of early 2027 deliveries
The A-segment EV is designed by Nissan but produced at Renault's Novo Mesto plant in Slovenia, offering up to 259km of WLTP range from a new LFP battery, with pricing due from December.
Nissan has unveiled the all-new PIXO, an electric A-segment city car developed for European customers. Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin from early 2027, with pricing, market specifications and pre-order information to be announced from December onwards, Nissan said.
PIXO is designed by Nissan and produced at Renault's Novo Mesto manufacturing facility in Slovenia, developed in partnership with Renault. Nissan said the arrangement draws on the two companies' shared expertise and complementary strengths, and demonstrates how the Alliance's capabilities can bring new products to customers with speed and efficiency.
The car uses a 27.5kWh LFP battery, which Nissan describes as the first LFP battery fitted to a Nissan model in Europe, giving up to 259km of WLTP driving range. Charging is rated at 50kW DC, taking approximately 28 minutes to go from 15-80%, alongside 11kW bi-directional AC charging fitted as standard across the range.
PIXO also features driver assistance systems including automated emergency braking, a lane-keeping system and e-Pedal technology, along with connected features such as the MyNissan app and Google built-in with Gemini.
PIXO measures 3,796mm in overall length with a 2,492mm wheelbase, and offers 356L of boot capacity (VDA) with the rear seats up.
