Modul-System has launched a windscreen-mounted warning light aimed at fleets that want visibility without a light bar bolted to the roof. It sits behind the glass on the inside, which keeps the exterior clean, according to Modul-System.

The specs: amber LEDs behind a clear lens, 13 selectable flash patterns, and an adjustable light angle to keep the beam correct regardless of windscreen rake or mounting height. It runs on 10-30 Vdc, uses 12 low-power LEDs rated at 0.54W each, and comes as a left-and-right pair in an IP67-rated polymer housing designed to shrug off vibration. Certification covers ECE R65 Class 2 and ECE R10 2011, per Modul-System.

Why this matters: For fleets weighing up warning-light options, the ECE R65 Class 2 rating and IP67 protection are the numbers worth checking against your own risk assessment and vehicle policy, not the discreet styling. If you spec these on new vans, confirm the adjustable angle genuinely covers your windscreen profiles before ordering in volume.
