Further up the range, the Long Range RWD offers up to 383 miles of WLTP range at £685 a month according to The Electric Car Scheme's quote tool, while the provider quotes a £60,000 earner from £516 a month. A seven-seat Model Y also returned to UK order books in April 2026, but it's locked to the Premium Long Range All-Wheel Drive trim at £54,490 - £2,500 above the five-seat equivalent. Anyone needing the extra seats gets no cheaper route in.

Why this matters: BIK on the Model Y sits at 4% for 2026/27 against up to 37% on a comparable petrol SUV, and the scheme claims employees typically save 20-50% versus a personal lease.
