Lex Autolease awards Cox Automotive three-year remarketing and inspections contract
Manheim will sell a proportion of Lex Autolease's LCVs through its physical auction sites, including Shepshed, Haydock, Gloucester and Colchester, so used van buyers can inspect vehicles in person.
Lex Autolease has awarded Cox Automotive a three-year contract covering remarketing and inspections, Van Fleet World reports. The leasing company is part of Lloyds' upcoming Lloyds Auto brand.
Under the contract, Cox Automotive's Manheim will remarket a proportion of Lex Autolease's LCVs through its national network of physical auction sites, including Shepshed, Haydock, Gloucester and Colchester. Premium inspection and collection support will back those sales.
The agreement draws on several Cox Automotive services, including vehicle inspection, collection and remarketing, to develop Lex Autolease's remarketing strategy. According to the report, the partnership will give Lex Autolease greater control and visibility across its remarketing programme and help optimise performance from the first point of sale.
Paul Hyne, commercial director at Lloyds Banking Group, said: "Physical auctions continue to play a vital role, particularly for buyers sourcing LCVs, and Manheim’s established national network gives our customers the opportunity to inspect vehicles in person."
