Every small van on sale in the UK that we have verified a payload for, diesel, petrol, hybrid and electric: 53 versions, across 14 models. The highest payload is the Maxus eDeliver 3 L1 H1 Van (50kWh), at 1,045kg. The top three are the Maxus eDeliver 3 L1H1 (1,045kg), the Toyota Proace City L1H1 (990kg) and the Citroën Berlingo L1H1 (982kg).

About these figures

Payload is as the manufacturer states it for that exact body and weight rating. A heavier trim or options reduce it. Versions plated at 4,250kg (marked 4.25t) carry more and often go further because they are heavier; a car (category B) licence covers zero-emission vans up to 4,250kg, petrol, diesel and hybrid vans up to 3,500kg (GOV.UK). Each version is a typical fleet specification; every figure links to its manufacturer source on the van's own page. A dash means we have not verified that figure yet, and a van with an unverified payload figure is not on this list until we have. The list updates itself as we add and re-check vans.
